LISA has photographic, audio, and audiovisual recording equipment that can be requested for research related to the Department of Anthropology and PPGAS, as well as for recording research-related events. Researchers must request to borrow the equipment, providing justification and a schedule. The project must have a clear estimate of the period of use of the equipment. Requests for equipment must be made using the Equipment Request Form at least one week in advance and with a scheduled pickup time. LISA also has editing stations for processing audiovisual materials, which can be used by researchers with the assistance of staff and fellows. The use of editing stations can be requested through the LISA production or support request form for audiovisual material.
Academic research is considered to be that carried out within the Department of Anthropology or the Graduate Program in Anthropology, or that supervised by a professor from the Department, who will sign the request and assume, in writing, full responsibility before USP.
Failure to comply with return deadlines and misuse of borrowed equipment, including accessories (batteries, power supplies, cables, cards, etc.) will result in the user's suspension for a period of 6 months.
