The Laboratory of Image and Sound in Anthropology, founded in 1991, is a research and training center linked to the Anthropology Department of the School of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo.It offers infrastructure and technical support for students, faculty and researchers of the Anthropology Department interested in the study and production of images and sounds. The LISA collection, which is available for consultation, includes 1,900 films, 24,000 images, 700 hours of sound records, in addition to books, theses and catalogs.
