Synopsis

“The Ritual of Life” is a documentary which takes a close look at the funeral cycle of Bororo of Mato Grosso. This complex ritual, central to this society, brings us face to face with de Bororo concepts of life and death and this within the present context of contatc. Using a language that previleges the sensitive, the film seeks to make sense of unchangingness and transformation in the Bororo world of the present day.
