INSURRENTOS

For nearly 30 years, the Capoeira Angola group Guerreiros de Senzala, led by Luiz Antônio Nascimento Cardoso (Mestre Pinguim), has been active at the University of São Paulo. Operating independently, the collective fosters the convergence of traditional Afro-Brazilian knowledge, academic research, and artistic creation.
