Biography of a teacher from Minas Gerais who fought for freedom of expression, against all forms of authoritarianism, and who discussed in her books the suicidal war carried out by the State and repression of women by family and Church. An experimental piece of work transposing into film a historical research on the author`s accomplishments by Miriam Moreira Leite, on the basis of handwritten sources, published texts, photographs and films from the period of 1918 to 1939.
