Synopsis
In 2005, 17 Wauja Indians from Alto Xingu presented an unprecedented show at the Radio France Festival, based on ritual sequences structured by flute music, choirs, solos and masked dances.
How to adapt a ritual that lasts two weeks to the logic of a 150-minute show? The video shows aspects of the scenic-musical result of this adaptation, conceived based on the dialogue between the anthropologist and the Wauja artists.
